Billabong is unique as you can book an animal encounter, where you can pat a koala, hang with meercats, mingle with monkeys and help feed a leopard. In school holidays, they run ‘Zookeeper for a Day’ programs, where kids (and teens) can experience life behind the scenes at the zoo, and assist with animal care.

Check out the great cafe, gift shop and playground, and get a selfie with the Big Koala Family! It’s one of those places you’ll plan for an hour and still be there at closing.
