Born and bred in Port Macquarie, Discover Media Australia (DMA) has been the local voice of regional tourism since 2006. We're not a faceless agency parachuting in with stock photos and guesswork. We live here, we eat and drink here, and we genuinely love showing the gorgeous Mid-North Coast off to anyone who'll listen (or read).
What We Do
Twice a year we publish our free Discover tourism magazines for the Greater Port Macquarie region, plus a comprehensive annual A3 visitor map that finds its way into glove boxes and hand bags all over town. It's the stuff visitors reach for when they arrive, and the stuff locals swear by when they've got friends and family in tow.
Over the years we've grown well beyond our own backyard. The DMA team now turns its hand to copywriting and media projects right across the Mid-North Coast, including visitor guides for the Macleay Valley Coast and Coffs Harbour, along with tourist maps and websites for regions up and down the coast.
Why It Matters
Good local content does more than fill pages. It sends real visitors through the doors of real businesses, and it helps the people who already live here rediscover what's on their doorstep. That's the bit we care about most, and it's why our advertisers stick with us year after year.
