Hi, I'm Scott, the founder of Dolphin & Dog. Based in Port Macquarie, it’s a pleasure to connect with you through Discover and share my journey so far, along with some of my latest products and favourite dog beaches in Port Macquarie, to walk your dog and grab a coffee.

I’ve combined my love for design, the ocean, and dogs to create a brand that offers high-quality, functional products inspired by a coastal lifestyle. As the sole creator behind Dolphin & Dog, I design every product and illustrate all my packaging, ensuring each item is stylish and practical for everyday life.

Lighthouse Beach & Coast Cafe

Lighthouse Beach is one of Port Macquarie’s most loved dog-friendly beaches. With an off-leash area (head south to Watonga Rocks at the base of Watonga Road/Matthew Flinders Drive) where your dog can run and play in the sand, it’s the ideal spot for a beach adventure. After some fun in the sun, head over to Coast cafe, which is just a short walk from the beach. Coast welcomes dogs in its outdoor seating area, where you can enjoy delicious coffee, snacks, and meals while soaking up the stunning ocean views.

Nobbys Beach & Sandbox Cafe

Another fantastic dog-friendly spot in Port Macquarie is Nobbys Beach. This beach also has an off-leash area, so your dog can splash around in the waves and enjoy some time in the sun. Afterward, you can visit Sandbox cafe, a pet-friendly cafe located near the beach. With a laid-back atmosphere, Sandbox offers a great selection of food and drinks while allowing your dog to join you in their outdoor seating area. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a beach adventure.
