Weekend Inspiration 11-13 August

Looking for some inspiration on what to do in and around Port Macquarie this weekend?

  • Finish up your work week right by heading to the Black Duck Brewery for their first official Fire Pit Friday! Cozy up by the fire with a beer while listening to some tunes by Billy Hart and enjoy some delicious snacks from their Smoker.

  • On Saturday morning (8am until 1pm), stop by the Foreshore Markets at Westport Park and wander the banks of the Hastings River for a range of handmade art and fresh local produce.

  • Have some fun on Saturday morning and take your kids along to the 'Sprouts' art activity session at the Glasshouse Regional Gallery (11am until 12 noon). Cost for the activities in $5 per child and bookings are essential as places are limited.

  • Indulge in the latest taste sensation - a mouth watering mega milkshake at Quay Lime Bar & Grill located at the Port Macquarie Marina. These monster milkshakes are the ultimate treat and have to be seen to be believed...go on, your taste buds deserve it! Bookings highly recommended so you don't miss out.

  • Get your groove on and head to Jazz at Bago Vineyards this Sunday (10am-3pm). Grab the whole family and get your toes ready for some tapping for an awesome day out. Adults $10 | Children $5 | Family $35 (2 Adults 3-4 kids) - admission on Jazz days includes entry to the Maze.
